Gila Bend, AZ - Space Age Find
Road Pickle Motorcycle Bohemia travels to Gila Bend, AZ. On our 6-month motorcycle trip to see America, Highway and Sash pass through Gila Bend, AZ, stopping for lunch at an eclectic, space-themed restaurant. What we found was one man's vision for his passion of the NASA space program during the late 1960's and 1970's.Lunch was delicious in the Spage Age Restaurant along Route 85. We found the Best Western Space Age Lodge right next door to the restaurant, equipped with a wide array of items for the space and alien lover in your life. The most fascinating part of the stop were the incredible murals that were painted in the lodge as well as the restaurant/gift shop. This is a stop that desert riders don't want to miss!
